More doodles

Taking a break from writing assignments...so here are a few snapshots of my sketchbook pages. I wanted to burn my camera because the battery kept dying on me...and then all my pictures turned out having a weird yellow vignette at the bottom. I retook these a few minutes ago, tried to fix the contrast in photoshop, but ended up with some annoying hot spots and bad framing. Oh well.

What it feels like returning to school after a long break.

The cat mascot turned out looking like Gloomy bear though.

Face practice w/o references. And theres my Chinese signature stamp at the bottom. I've had it since I was a kid, but I've rarely used it.

Eek...

My first time working with expressions. The anatomy book taught us to consider what direction the muscles are pulling towards in order to achieve naturalistic expressions. I still need major practice.

Pretty generic stuff.

Just bought this box of belgian waffles at Trader Joes for (i think) 1.99? Pretty good deal cause waffles from the Waffle Window costs 1.99 EACH. Anyway, its my new addiction. They come out extremely crispy, light, and delicious after toasting in a conventional oven. Im back to get more!!
